This book describes the author’s view of why we are alive and how we should live. The book is thoroughly researched (with any references) by the author who is an obvious seeker of the truth. The book is fairly easy to read and the author nicely summarizes the main point of each chapter. The author seems to really know his stuff, but for one reason or another I am not getting it. I plan on re-reading this as I think there is much to learn from it.

It is with great privilege that I have been given the honor of reading this book, and recommend it to anyone on the path to realization. I found the author put into words the belief system I hold, not only clarifying areas, but answering unspoken questions in others. The book is unequivocally straight forward, with "all that is" being put into perspective. I consider it to be one of the most important books I have read on spirituality, and the meaning of life.

Nothing really here. This is just one man's ramblings about his belief system. The Journey of Soul Perfection is anything but new and unique. Page after page of stuff about karma and cosmos. I could go on but won't.

when i look back in the book,in universal consciousness part,it sounds so nice and accepting. Its an interesting idea that objects have spiritual entity.I think, that could be true. The book says spirits are all equal, genderless and unique.I think, you get more understanding when you keep on reading the booke book motivates us to experience and grow.ıt makes you feel like you are worthy and capable of anything.Apart from that,i personally dont believe in reincarnation but you should see chapter 3 i [...]

I amazed how much this book took researching, reading, blending all science elements and showing for better understanding the things we get confused or choose to ignore instead.I always questioned why we always use''you are unique'' but couldn't comprehend its detailed meaning. It helped me that I understood I am important because I am a part of all this perfect combination we called ''universe''I learned about self-love and the aim of living and finding the aim of living and loving all creatures n [...]

Wow. This is a well researched and well written book for those who want a better psychological and philosophical understanding of life itself in its past and present and what they may believe in. I've never been a "big" believer in conformed religion, nor am I a devout religion basher like Dawkins. Gaggin helps you see things a bit more clearer about what is this unexplained energy could be out there that many define as "God". It was an absolute pleasure to read this very non-judging book as it [...]

For anyone who has struggled with their faith, sought a path towards finding answers to age-old spiritual questions or felt they didn't quite "fit in" with any particular faith this book is for you. Gaggin has thoughtfully organized a wealth of research into nine meaty chapters, plus a bonus list of suggested readings. You'll want a notebook and writing utensils handy to get through this one. Every chapter will impart some nugget of knowledge - or a few - that you'll want to explore further. Sur [...]

Caveat: I received this book in a First Reads drawing. I did enjoy this book, it is an interesting and cited book about possible answers to the G-d question without following the path of major religions. I will once my semester finishes and before the next starts be looking up some of the papers he cites. Anyway an enjoyable read especially for anyone currently on a spiritual quest. I enjoyed it even though at times the differences between my beliefs and his jangled at bit causing me to examine [...]

I won this book through the giveaway. I enjoyed the book. Although I am already open-minded, it was interesting to read another perspective. We as human beings have been molded with false belief systems that have been passed on from within our families, education and government systems. I had to let most if not all of it go if it did not fit in my current spiritual path to find my own truth. This book helps anyone wondering how we all fit into this wonderful thing called the universe created by [...]

I received this book through GoodReads First Reads giveway. I felt this author did a really good job of creating an excellent perspective of areas that seem unclear to so many. He provided a way to open ones mind to look at spirituality in a different view point than most people do. Instead of just seeing what is usually presented to us. Good book to read if you would like to explore different areas of spirituality that are not normally presented to us.

Liked this author's extensive research on spirituality - the theologian in me would wonder how much of this is "new age" thinking, the philosopher in me would argue the caste system of heaven (page 64), the skeptic in me would wonder "how do we really know?", the truth searcher in me thinks this is as close to what I believe myself. Gaggin brings all spiritual thinking in one concise and easy to understand/read bookokcrossing/journal/1

I got this book from the writer. The book is written in an easy way, even for a non-native english reader. The book was interesting, but I have trouble to really take these ideas to me. I'm not a religious person so the thought of a supreme mind is hard for me to grab.Research is extensive and many suggested readings for those who want to now more.

Most profound and enlightening book I have ever read in my life. Beliefs I knew in my heart since I was a child. Finally someone put the 1000's of years of spiritual documentation into a very well written book. I have learned so much about myself. No matter what your religious or spiritual beliefs are, you must read this book!
